…there will be no room for the bigger stuff.
And the bigger stuff is all that matters.
Small stuff is time consuming and mundane. It has to get done, but should NEVER preoccupy you.
The bigger stuff is why you are here. What’s your purpose? What are you meant to be contributing? How do you feel about where you are in your life? Do you feel you are on your path to becoming the best version of you? This should be the big picture focus of your life.
When you focus on the big picture, the little stuff falls away. You begin to find the real meaning of life and avoid getting caught up in the minutae. Nothing in life is more important than you living the life you came here to live.
Don’t waste your life chasing your to-do list or suffering through a soul-less job. If you prefer to focus on the mundane details, you’ll get lost in the mouse wheel of life. You may learn to efficiently structure life’s processes, but that won’t move you forward in your personal growth.
The devil is in the details. Don’t lose sight of the big picture in favor of obsessing over the small stuff. The small stuff never matters. The details always get done, but the devil is hiding in them and if you could just step outside those details long enough, you might just learn how to fly.
